ODDS STYLES
They are 3 ways to show odds:
- European style (decimal) - example 2.45
- England stile (fractions) - example 11/4
- American style - example +250
In this site we always use decimal odds. Calculations are easier and showing of payback is clear. How they works: if You bet X ($,EUR, etc) on odd Y wining will be X*Y. For example 5 EUR on odd 2.45 is possible wining 5*2.45=12.25 EUR. We will not transform decimal odd, so we will explain how to transform other styles in decimal.
English style
Odd is shown as fraction type X/Y - example 11/4.
Formula for transforming in decimal style is:
K = (x+y)/y
In example:K = (11+4)/4 = 3.75
Note : In calculator write fraction in both fields - numerator and measure.
American style
Odds are plus or minus some integer greater than 100. For example (+250; -175)
If plus:
K=(x+100)/100
In example:
K = (250+100)/100 = 3.5
If minus:
K = (x+100)/x (x is absolute value of x - without minus)
In example:
K = (175+100)/175 = 1.57
Note : In calculator write sign (plus or minus).
